Toronto Wildlife Centre says goodbye to a dear friend
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Alison J. Cooper. Alison joined Toronto Wildlife Centre in 1994 and founded and ran TWC’s Wildlife Rescue and Oil Spill Response Programs.
Alison will be forever missed by her devoted and loving life partner Rhonda, her beloved mother Gwen, father Charles and her dear brother Jonathon (Joanna). She will always be loved and missed by her extended family and friends and by her adoring furry, feathery and finned friends.
Alison guided her family and friends through her illness with unfailing grace, courage and optimism. She loved life to the fullest and took many along for the adventures that her passion for experiencing life brought her.
Alison’s passion for the outdoors and all its creatures was evident in her beautiful photography. Every bird, tree, flower or horizon will remind us of Alison.
