Toronto Wildlife Centre helps wildlife in distress, and provides education to the community on wildlife-related issues. The primary goals of our work are to promote the peaceful co-existence of people with our wild neighbours, and to ensure that wild animals are given the best possible chance at a healthy life in the natural environment.

To learn more about the programs and services through which we work towards these goals, please click on the following links:

  1. Wildlife Hotline - over 30,000 phone calls handled each year about a wide variety of wildlife-related issues
  2. Wildlife Rescue - highly-trained staff and volunteers perform difficult life-saving rescues 365 days a year
  3. Veterinary Hospital - in 2007, over 5,600 sick, injured and orphaned wild animals received specialised medical care
  4. Wildlife Rehabilitation - over 260 different species of wildlife cared for by knowledgeable and skilled staff and volunteers
  5. Public Education - providing unique educational resources for thousands of members of the public annually
  1. Conservation - working to ensure the well-being of wildlife and our shared environments
